Converting a Word document to a PDF is a built-in feature of Microsoft Office, meaning you don’t need any extra software to do it for free. Method 1: The “Save As” Shortcut (Desktop)
This is often the fastest way to export your file directly from the Word application. Open your document in Microsoft Word. Click the File tab in the top-left corner.
